Senator
Jim Jeffords
And A Unity Of One Percent
Until last
week, the Republicans controlled all 3 branches of the United
States Federal Government. The Presidency, the Supreme Court,
and both the House of Representatives and the Senate. In the Senate
there are 100 members, and until last week, there were 50 Republicans
and 50 Democrats, yet the Republicans remained in control because
they were a majority from the previous session. Then a unity of
one percent, Jim Jeffords, decided to change things by switching
parties from being a Republican Senator from Vermont to being
an Independent Senator from Vermont. Soon it will officially be
50 Democrats, 49 Republicans, and 1 Independent making up the
Senate. All it took then was 1 Senator, 1%, to change the total
power structure within the Senate. This will mark the first time
in history this shift of power has happened inside a session.
This will change all 15 Senate committees from the Republicans
to the Democrats. Yet this power shift will only constrain a little
of bit of Bush's
fascistic legislative agenda and his dangerously arrogant unilateralism.
Republicrat
Corporate Fascism
And Voting Our Conscience
Of course
there is so little difference between the 2 major parties this
really doesn't matter all that much. The corporations have had
every politician in both the Republican and Democratic Parties
bought and paid for a long time ago. They are the Republicrat
Party, all lying puppets cast by the corporate oligarchy. The
sooner the people of the United States understand this very simple
fact, the faster Third Parties like the Green Party will grow
strong and become a formidable threat to the status quo.
Only then
will the 49% who didn't see fit to come out and vote in the 2000
presidential race finally see a reason to come out and vote their
conscience. Only then will we start to vote our conscience and
vote for someone who is actually out for the good of all 285 million
citizens of the United States, and the 6.1 billion people who
now share this Earth. Only then will we start to vote our conscience
and vote for someone who fully understands that we must quickly
change over to sustainable environmental policies, to leave our
children a habitable Earth. Only then will we have someone who
is not bought and paid for by the corporations, but finally, a
truly honest person of integrity. Only then will we vote our conscience
and vote for someone like Ralph Nader to win back the Presidency
for all Americans. Finally putting a stop to our corporate fascism,
and bring democracy back to this Republic.
The
Difference Between
George W. Bush, Al Gore And Ralph Nader
Homo sapiens
have just past the most important fork in the road in our evolution,
the Omega point fork in the road, and we have taken the wrong
road. ( for the short term enormous greed of the corporate oligarchy
- like the 18 Billion dollars of profit for ExxonMobil in 2000
) On this road we are very quickly driving ourselves to environmental
hell and our species eventual Omega point.
With Bush
we are going 86 MPH and we will reach Omega point in 10 years.
( Bush is exactly what America needs to wake up to the corporate
fascism )
With Gore
we would have been going 74 MPH and would have reached Omega point
in just under 12 years ( he would be doing very much the same
as Bush is now, he would act like he did when he was VP for 8
years and United States fuel MPG standards got worse and CO2 emissions
went up 10%. Except for not doing a few of the really stupid things
like drilling for oil up in the Artic Preserve he would be the
same corporate lap dog like he's always been ) How 50 million
voters mistook Gore's corporate fascism as somehow better is beyond
me.
With Nader we would have been taking the next exit to sustainability
and social equality, with the top public advocate in the United
States over the last 36 years.
All those
people who voted for Gore or Bush, instead of who their conscious
wanted - Ralph Nader - shame on you, vote your conscience from
now on.
Get the difference
between the first 2 guys.
There is none.
With both we are on the road to hell which is leading us to our
Omega point.
Bush
will get us there in 10 years, Gore would have gotten us there
in 12 years.
Both these
guys are corporate puppets that speak the same Orwellian spin
to appease a stupefied public, all the while doing what the corporations
want done.
For all those
people who voted for Gore and blame Nader voters for Bush, you
got conned by the corporate media into thinking there was a difference
between these 2 puppets. Please understand Bush and Gore are the
same corporate lap dog. And we don't have a chance in hell of
adverting the worst fate of a species, extinction, with either
of them. The sooner the people of the United States understand
this very simple fact, the better for all of our future generations.
